The DLF 2022 Forum was the first in-person forum since the Covid-19 pandemic. We wanted to evoke the thriving art scene of the host city, Baltimore — and harness the excitement and anticipation of the upcoming reunion of friends and colleagues.

project details

  • Practitioners at digital libraries, museums, archives, and cultural heritage institutions.

  • Push against sterotypes about the city and overused visuals — like crabs, the harboe and the flag) — instead celebrate the energy of Baltimore’s incredible art scene. Tap into the bright colors and geometric shapes of the city’s commissioned mural program, and showcase the official flower of Maryland, the sunflower.

  • A lively, artful, and welcoming event brand identity that welcomed back the forum attendees and paid homage to the great city of Baltimore and its thriving art scene.
