Transforming a domestic violence prevention agency to reflect the breadth of their work.

After 40 years of deeply dedicated service, Women’s Support Services — now Project SAGE — was ready to evolve with their community. It was time to speak to a larger audience about the extensive work they do to end domestic violence, support survivors, and educate the community.

project details

  • Project SAGE serves specific populations within their strategies: victims and survivors of domestic violence, youth and adults who are learning how to navigate relationships, community partners, and the community at large, regardless of age, gender, socioeconomic status, sexual orientations, race, religion, and ethnicity. Domestic violence knows no bounds, and anyone can find themselves in need of Project SAGE’s services.

Secondary audiences: donors and board members

  • Develop a brand that is dignified, inclusive, and accessible because domestic violence can happen to anyone. Demonstrate that Project SAGE treats their clients with dignity, respect and honors their choices. Amplify Project SAGE’s 40-year track record as a trusted, experienced, non-profit organization who works tirelessly with grace and empathy to end interpersonal violence.

  • We created an adaptable brand that Project SAGE staff can run with, they are always connecting to their audiences through social media, events, and direct communications. It was important to empower them with actionable guidelines, systems, and templates that they can implement on their own.
